Welcome to the Consortium for the Study and Application of Motivational Interviewing. The Consortium includes the Counseling Psychology Program and the Nutrition and Food Systems Program at the University of Southern Mississippi and 7Cs Community Counseling Clinic at the Guesthouse of Milwaukee (WI). Our Consortium focuses on many aspects of training and application of Motivational Interviewing (MI). We develop assessment tools to assist trainers and supervisors, evaluate models of training, and examine the efficacy of MI in community settings. As a result, members of our Consortium are available to provide MI training.
