Emily Thomas is a 2008 Southern Miss graduate with a B.A. in speech communication. 

In 2010, she obtained a Master of Education in counseling personnel services with an emphasis in college student personnel. A native of Mobile, Ala., she currently serves as the admissions counselor for the Mississippi Gulf Coast. 

While attending Southern Miss as an undergraduate, Emily was involved in Eagle Connection, Greek life and the Speech Communication Association.
