Students at Southern Miss have access to modern writing and speaking labs on campus. Writing labs are outfitted with state-of-the-art computers that contain word processing programs and internet access, and are staffed with trained writing assistants who will assist students with their writing-concentrated needs. Speech labs provide students with personalized assistance from trained undergraduate and graduate students who will guide students through every stage of the process, from generating topics to presentation styles.
