UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATION

Undergraduate students, who have never attended school at Southern Miss, can apply online. If you prefer to submit the application by U.S. mail, contact the respective Admissions office to have a paper application sent to you:

Application Fee:

Students are required to submit a non-refundable $25 application fee to process their application. Please mail your check/money order to:

Applicant’s name and birth date should be included on the check/money order to prevent delays in processing the application.

Students who have previously attended school at Southern Miss as undergraduates, but have not been enrolled for two semesters or graduated, must fill out the online form at SOAR to reapply.

GRADUATE APPLICATION

Graduate Students, who have never attended graduate school at Southern Miss, can apply online. If you prefer to submit the application by U.S. mail, the application and recommendation forms are available for printing.

Students who have previously attended graduate school at Southern Miss but have not been enrolled for two semesters must secure from their department permission to reenter the program. They must also reapply.

Students who have taken graduate courses on a non-degree basis at Southern Miss but have never been admitted to a specific program of graduate study should complete an application.
