Who is my advisor?
Although students majoring in Administration of Justice and Forensic Science do not have an assigned advisor, they can select the faculty advisor of his or her choice during advisement sign-up.

My professor asked the class to download the class syllabus...how do I do that?
Syllabi are posted on instructors' individual web pages. Select the FACULTY or STAFF link to locate your instructor's page then select the desired syllabus for download.

What is a journal article?
In most cases, when an instructor refers to a journal article they are talking about refereed publications appearing in professional journals (many of which are available through the USM library). If you have doubts about what constitutes a journal article, print a copy of the article's abstract and ask your instructor if the article is appropriate.

What are the appropriate steps for the graduation application process?
The graduation application process begins in the College of Science and Technology office (located in the Bobby Chain Technology building). Students need to make an appointment with the degree auditor before departmental graduation advisement.
