Grace McLean has been practicing law in state and federal court since 1996. Her primary areas of practice have been appellate capital defense and mitigation investigation. She has worked for the North Carolina Death Penalty Resource Center and the North Carolina Center for Death Penalty Litigation and for North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services, Inc., as well as for the Capital Habeas Unit of the Los Angeles Federal Public Defender. Her areas of specialization are indigent defense law, including capital defense, prisoner and civil rights litigation, criminal ethics issues and critical legal theory. |
