Sociology Department Honors
Congratulations to these students for their excellent
work in sociology:
Katie James has been named Sociology Student of the
Year for 2006-2007.
Glenn Duggin is this year's winner of the Alpha Kappa
Delta Award for Best Undergraduate Paper in Sociology.
Veronica Fucich has been named co-winner of the annual
Department of Anthropology and Sociology Outstanding Service Award.
Lauren Rizzuto, Anthropology, shares this honor with
her.
Alpha Kappa Delta, the International
Sociology Honor Society, announces its Spring 2007 initiates:
Glenn Duggin, Kristen Eidman, Rosa Gomez-Fernandini, Susannah
Gregg, Felicia Jackson, Katie James, and
Byron Taylor. Acceptance into AKD is based on maintaining
high grades in both the student's sociology course work and overall
university course work.
