Jeanne Gillespie, Ph.D.
Senior Associate Dean
Dr. Jeanne Gillespie serves as Senior Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Letters. Her principle duties in the college include coordinating faculty development and success initiatives. She also works with graduate and interdisciplinary programs. Gillespie received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Purdue University, her Master of Arts in Latin American Studies with concentrations in Anthropology and Art History from the University of Texas at Austin and her doctorate in Spanish with an emphasis in Latin American Literature from the Arizona State University. As Professor of Spanish she has taught courses at all levels of Spanish language and cultures. Gillespie also teaches in the Women’s and Gender Studies program and in Interdisciplinary Studies.
