Student Service Dashboards
The Office of Student Services in the College of Arts & Letters serves as a clearinghouse for the academic needs of approximately 3400 students in 13 degree-granting departments. The student service staff processes course substitutions and changes of majors and provides walk-in degree audit services. Upon application for graduation students receive a preliminary audit so that they may know what requirements must be fulfilled in their final semester’s work. Once grades post, applied students receive a final audit and are cleared for a degree, rolled to another semester, or go inactive.
The office's staff also prides itself on the quality of service provided to each student who visits LAB 213. Student evaluations consistenty affirm that high level of service.

Thus, the data reflect only a portion of the level of activity in the Office of Student Services (recall that each graduating student also receives a preliminary audit). Other dashboards reflect the quality of service over time. The information derives internal and USM Registrar reports and presents in graphic form trends across time.
