HPR 475-Medical Aspects
DESCRIPTION: This course deals with team physician
and athlete trainer relationships, physical examination, emergency
equipment, medical terminology, athletic injuries, and problems
related to the team physician. It is the objective of this course
to have the student develop an understanding of medical aspects
of general medical conditions and physical trauma that may occur
from athletic injuries and gain a different prespective from the
view point of the physician.
