Administrative Secretary
Alfreda
L. Horton is administrative secretary for the office. She
oversees the day-to-day operations. She manages the budget
for the office, as well as the budgets of two student organizations:
Afro American Student Organization (AASO) and Students Promoting
Educating and Empowering for Diversity (SPEED). She provides
additional advisement for the two student organizations as
needed. She received the 2001-2002 Staff Excellence Award.
She holds a notary public commission.
In
1993, she received a bachelor's in business technology education
with an emphasis in office management, and in 1997, she was
awarded a master's in business technology education, both
from The University of Southern Mississippi.
