Religious Life The University of Southern Mississippi is a state institution and therefore must be nonsectarian in nature. The office of the Assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs serves as the link between religious organizations and the campus community. The Campus Ministers Association at Southern Miss exists to foster a relationship among various religious faiths. This group assists Southern Miss in the development of the whole student. An array of faith-based organizations is represented in this group. The Campus Ministers Association is active year round and may be contacted at your will.
