Michael D. Sneed currently holds the position of Sergeant at Arms on the NBA Collegiate Chapter Executive Board.

Although born in New Jersey, Michael grew up in Marietta, GA.  He attended McCleskey Middle School where he first learned to play the French Horn, and the recorder.  Later, Michael toured playing the recorder in the Boston Early Music Festival.

Michael also attended Lassiter High School under the direction of Alfred Watkins and had the opportunity to march in the Tournament of Roses parade, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, and BOA Grand Nationals where they received 1st in 1998.  While there, Michael was privileged to play in the BOA National Concert Band Festival and play in the Midwest Clinic.

Michael is currently a senior music education major and continues to play the French horn under Mr. Ken Ortlepp.  He is a member of the USM Symphonic Winds ensemble, Carillon (a nationally known hand bell choir which has toured world wide), an Orff/Early Music Ensemble, and The Pride Of Mississippi Marching Band.  "My future after receiving my undergraduate degree is not fully determined yet," Michael states.  He does plan to work on a master's degree in music education and then teach middle or high school band.
