The USM chapter members generally
renew their membership in August. That way, membership
will run from September 1st through August 31 of the
following year.
Student membership dues are only $25
per year. There is an additional charge of $5 if you
decide to purchase the official silver NBA lapel pin.
With membership you gain full access
to the members only pages of the NBA site (national
organization), an online subscription of the NBA Journal and
a mailing subscription to The Instrumentalist.
This magazine is an outstanding source for music educators
in all facets of the music industry. The
Instrumentalist has featured topics on conducting
technique, tips for marching band drill instruction, band
room instruction, intonation within bands and instrument
repair, to name a few.
