Education:
B.S. University of Southern Mississippi
Ph.D. University of Houston

Teaching Interests

My main instructional focus is on Human Anatomy and Physiology. I am also part of the author team for Seeley’s Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology and Seeley’s Anatomy & Physiology.

BSC 250 Human Anatomy and Physiology I
BSC 250 Human Anatomy and Physiology II

Research Interests

My research interests include the mechanisms of speciation, the evolution of reproductive isolation. I am particularly interested in the behavioral changes associated with reproductive isolation. My dissertation research investigated the effects of population bottlenecks on reproductive isolation. I am also interested in the possible role of reinforcement in the process of speciation.
