Honors College at Art Walk

|

sam-zoe2-edited.jpg Honors college students showed off their talents at the quarterly Art Walk in downtown Hattiesburg Saturday night. Above, guitarist and singer Sam Zeanah paired with Zoe Beckham, both Honors College students, to entertain the crowd in front of Southbound Bagel on Front Street. We love it when the students display their many talents! With the Honors College's own Stacey Ready acting as mistress of ceremonies, our students read poetry, showed off crafts, and exhibited photography.

z-artwalk2.jpgRobyn White, Greg Gandy, Beth Alexander, Lizzie Maloy, Samantha Nix, Bradley Warshauer, and Brittney Rosella took part along with Sam and Zoe. Special thanks go to Stacey Ready, our coordinator of General Honors, not just for her emcee work but also for putting the thing together. Thanks, too, to Southbound Bagel for letting us set up shop in and in front of the restaurant.

Students displayed so much enthusiasm for this project that the College will be on display at future Art Walks beginning next year.
