Happy birthday, Natalie

|

natalie-pic.jpgNatalie Cook, our graduate assistant who helps with Honors Forum and with many other tasks around the office, had a birthday today, so of course we're planning a celebratory meal as befitting an office that honors its student workers as much as its students.

Natalie, who is majoring in counseling psychology, joined us this fall after earning a bachelor's degree at Louisiana State University. She and Patricia "Bunny" Simmons, our other graduate assistant, do absolutely terrific work for us. Happy number 23, Natalie!

Honors Forum, also known as University Forum, is the university speaker series that is operated by the Honors College. Each year we bring speakers from all across the country to come speak to our students at Bennett Auditorium in talks that are open both to the university community and to the public. Natalie helps coordinate the course by arranging for logistics of the visiting speakers, grading student papers, and otherwise assisting Honors Director Dr. David Echevarria, who teaches in psychology.
