Leave it to the Honors College's Andy Wiest, professor of history, to shake things up around here on April Fool's Day. Wiest told his history class that the weather was simply too pleasant to justify holding class indoors, so he escorted students outside to the open area north of the Liberal Arts Building and west of the Honors College. There, to their surprise, the students found a guitarist and bassist as well as Wiest's drum set. Wiest got behind the drums, and the band launched into a set of rock tunes. As Wiest put it in an email to me, "Gotta shake things up sometimes, don't we?"
