At today's meeting, the IHL Board gave permission for us to initiate projects at GCRL and the Gulf Park Campus. After a long, long wait and many delays, we can now begin to rebuild and rehab these buildings destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Design professionals will be engaged for repair and restoration of the storm damage to Hardy Hall, Lloyd Hall, Elizabeth Hall and the Administration Building on the Gulf Park campus. The interior configuration will be determined in coordination with the Cross Creek Master Planning effort and will be developed with the overall master plan for the coast campuses.
Six buildings at the Gulf Coast Research Lab will be similarly rehabilitated or replaced.
