Several people have asked about the state of the Lake Byron Bridge on the Hattiesburg campus. Upon inquiry, I have learned that the bridge has some new, treated wood that needs to dry about a week before it can be painted. Our wet weather of late has delayed the project.
The folks in physical plant want to do the job right so we will be patient and hope for a nice spell of sunshine.
