For some reason, I'm more nostalgic than usual in anticipation of this year's Homecoming Week activities. Maybe it's the uncertainty we are all feeling with the national economy, or maybe it's an upcoming significant birthday that is triggering this excessive sentiment. Whatever the reason, I am really looking forward to seeing our alumni return to campus this week and marvel at all the changes. I'm looking forward to hearing the stories of the "old days" and sharing a few with some colleagues I haven't seen in a while.
