We have spent a lot of time over the past year working toward an effective enrollment management plan. We have made very good progress for goals and strategies for the Hattiesburg campus. Now it's time to take a look at Southern Miss Gulf Coast and the graduate programs. Our consultant from Noel Levitz will be here Thursday and Friday to get us started.
FYI: Our primary goals at this point include increasing the freshman retention rate to 80% and increasing our market share by 2%. That figure will change as we learn more about possibilities on the Gulf Coast and in our graduate programs.
The folks in Student Affairs and Academic Affairs are working diligently to kickoff strategies to help us meet our goals. Expect to hear more as plans progress.
