Experts Share Research Opportunity Info with Southern Miss Construction Students

HATTIESBURG, Miss.  - Senior managers from IMTC-MEI Houston offices, a recognized leader in construction, management, and project controls, met with The University of Southern Mississippi Assistant Professor John Hannon and School of Construction graduate students recently on a service-learning based research project involving ethanol production. 

IMTC-MEI, a subsidiary of Crown Enterprises of Louisiana, specializes in repair of catastrophically damaged industrial facilities.  The company is entering a new market for ethanol plant construction, and is engaging Southern Miss graduate students in construction management technology in research on ethanol production and facilities, as well as assisting in estimating and scheduling ethanol plant production.

IMTC-MEI representatives attending included Sean T. Regan, Ph.D., CCE, Senior Project Services Manager Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle East, Oleksiy Sheshyn, CCE, Lead Project Controls Engineer and Shane M. Thomas, Senior Project Services Manager North America.
