Before registering for the Basic Technology Literacy Exam, please read the list of Frequently Asked Questions.
To register for the Basic Technology Literacy Exam, answer ALL of the questions on the next page. You will then be given a list of available test dates. Select one of the dates to complete your registration. Please register for one test session only. You will be charged a $25.00 fee for all registered sessions. All fees are non-refundable.
In order to complete this form and in order to take the Basic Technology Literacy Exam, you MUST have a valid usm.edu e-mail address. All USM students can get a free usm.edu e-mail address. If you have not had your usm.edu address activated, contact the iTech helpdesk before registering for the Basic Technology Literacy Exam.
Please enter your 6-digit USM emplID. Enter only the 6 numbers of your ID: 123456.
You MUST have an active USM e-mail account to register for the BTLE. You will get an “invalid ID number” error message if your e-mail account is not activated. Call the Help Desk at 266.HELP (266.4357). You will be able to register after 7:00 a.m. the following day.
