The Program Elimination Appeals Committee has issued its report on 23 appeals of program closures recommended last fall by the University Priorities Committee and implemented by the University Cabinet.
Among the 23 appeals, the committee recommended the elimination of 11 programs, the retention of 10 programs and the retention of faculty or graduate assistants for two programs. The University's Executive Cabinet is considering the appeals committee's recommendations and is expected to respond in the coming weeks.
