The
mission of the University Budget Office is to plan, develop,
and implement the university's annual operating budget for
general and auxiliary funds; request appropriations from the
state of Mississippi; assess availability of resources to
implement university wide initiatives, and disseminate this
information to the university community, the Mississippi Board
of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, and the
State of Mississippi Legislative Budget
Office.
The
University Budget Office aspires to provide the best
information to assist the university community, the governing
board, and the legislature in maximizing the financial
resources of the university.
