The College of Business at Southern Miss is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), the premier accrediting agency for collegiate management education worldwide. The college is one of 549 AACSB member institutions that hold business accreditation. As of April, 2007, only 167 member institutions have additional specialized accreditation for their accounting programs.  The Southern Miss College of Business is one of those 167 schools. AACSB accreditation signifies that the business school meets or exceeds the overall high quality standards of the AACSB and engages in continuous improvement practices to maintain our high quality.
