Dr. Dugan is a CPA (Louisiana, inactive). He has received seven teaching awards, including the 2009 Alabama Society of CPAs’ Outstanding Educator Award. He has published forty-five articles in various academic and professional journals in accounting. He is a co-recipient of the American Accounting Association Accounting Horizons Outstanding Paper Award for 2010.
