Mrs. Simmons is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Mississippi Society of CPAs. She has accounting experience in both public accounting and industry.

Professional Honors and Achievements
Mrs. Simmons serves as faculty advisor for the accounting honorary society, Beta Alpha Psi, at USM. She has also served as a member of the Academic Technology Committee at USM and the Alternative Learning Committee for the College of Business.
