Dr. Marvasti is a recipient of grants from the United Nations Development Program and the Canadian Studies Program. He has published articles in academic journals including Economic Inquiry, Economic Letters, Applied Economics, Review of Industrial Organization, Environmental and Resource Economics, Applied Economic Letters, Journal of Economic Issues, Journal of Policy Modeling, and Pacific Economic Review, Eastern Economic Journal, Journal of Cultural Economics, The American Economist, International Journal of the Economics of Business, and has Contributed to the Macmillan’s International Encyclopedia of Social Sciences. Dr. Marvasti has been consulted by industry and been interviewed on various issues by the media such as the Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, New York Times, and Miami Herald. He is also a member of several academic organizations including the American Economic Association.
