Dr. Becker has more than 12 years of teaching experience in hospitality education, including several at Washington State University's Swiss Center Campus in Brig, Switzerland, University of South Carolina, Kansas State University and Virginia Tech. Becker also has considerable managerial experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in restaurants, hotels, country clubs and institutional food service operations. She is a member of the Mississippi Tourism Association where she serves as V.P. for education.

Academic and Professional Interests Dr. Lai's research interests include supply chain and logistics management, quality management, e-business, and enterprise systems. His work has been published in such journals as International Journal of Production Research, Communications of the ACM, Decision Sciences, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Travel Research. Dr. Lai was presented the Junior Faculty Research Award (2008), the Louis K. Brandt Faculty Publications Award (2009), and the Literati Network Awards for Excellence (2007). Dr. Lai is a certified SAP and Oracle professional.

The Louisiana State Bar Association supported his D.B.A. research; Dr. Lambert presented the results of his dissertation to the Louisiana State Bar Association's Board of Governors in January 2006. He is a member of the Academy of Management, the Southern Management Association, the Academy of International Business, the World Trade Center of New Orleans, and the French-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Louisiana Chapter.

She was awarded a two-year NIH postdoctoral fellowship in 1997 and the South Central Bell Outstanding Faculty Award in 1996. In 1998, she was elected to serve a five-year term as an Officer in the Academy of Management Health Care Management Division. In 2002, she was awarded a NIH grant to study interdisciplinary, multiagency teams.

He has published in the Academy of Management Learning and Education, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Economic Bulletin, Research in Ethical Issues in Organizations, and Journal of American College Health.
