Professional Honors and Achievements
Ms. Loyd has conducted over a hundred seminars and workshops in the fields of marketing, retailing, and communication for local, state, and national associations. She has published over 18 refereed journals, articles and conference papers on various marketing related topics. Ms. Loyd served as Vice President and member of the Board of Directors and received the Wayne A. Lemburg Award for Distinguished Service and the Hugh G. Wells Faculty Advisor of the Year Award from the American Marketing Association. She also served as Program Chair and President-of the Atlantic Marketing Conference, Membership Chair of the American Collegiate Retailing Association, and as Regional Director, Philanthropic Chairman, and Vice President of Communications for Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.
