Professional Honors and Achievements
Dr. Becker has more than 12 years of teaching experience in hospitality education, including several at Washington State University's Swiss Center Campus in Brig, Switzerland, University of South Carolina, Kansas State University and Virginia Tech. Becker also has considerable managerial experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in restaurants, hotels, country clubs and institutional food service operations. She is a member of the Mississippi Tourism Association where she serves as V.P. for education.

Professional Honors and Achievements
Evelyn Green has nineteen years of work experience in higher education. Her career involves experience in hotel management, faculty development training, online course development, grants administration, recreational sports marketing, sales, and public relations. Evelyn Green received the National Service Award from the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association for her contribution to the field of recreational sports marketing.  In April 2007, she received the department's The Cutting Edge award for innovative teaching. Ms. Green was also a recipient of the University of Southern Mississippi 's Staff Excellence award.

Professional Honors and Achievements
Dr. Henthorne was the first U.S. marketing professor to make an official visit to the University of Havana since the Cuban Revolution. His publications total more than 60 in refereed outlets, including Journal of Advertising, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Journal of Business Ethics. He has also published a book examining the burgeoning Cuban tourism industry. Dr. Henthorne has won the Brandt Award for outstanding research in the College of Business and has received the University's Lucas Award to further his work in Cuba. Additionally, he is the recent recipient of a Fulbright Award to research and lecture in India.

Through acting as the principal with Yarborough Planning, LLC, presenting at major conferences such as the Global Gaming Exposition, Southern Gaming Summit, Southwest Indian Gaming Conference, National Indian Gaming Association Conference, UNLV / Harrah’s Las Vegas International Hospitality and Convention Summit,  Casino Enterprise Management Group’s CasinoFests,  and Aristocrat/Oasis User’s Groups, leading experiential academic experiences including a 400 level, four student marketing brand analysis  practicum  with the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, serving as a peer reviewer with the UNLV Gaming Research & Review Journal and multiple publications in Gaming Today, Indian Gaming, Casino Journal, and Casino Enterprise Management Magazine, Mr. Paster actively assists with the development and instruction of the hospitality and gaming fields.

A Southern Miss faculty member since 1993, Dr. Price's activities include articles and professional papers in a variety of tourism publications and and meetings. She also has given numerous professional lectures to such organizations as the Institute Hotelier Cesar Ritz and the Washington State University Swiss Center in Switzerland, Travel and Tourism Research Association and the Mississippi Hotel and Motel Association.

Professional Honors and Achievements
Price is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association and was named the PCMA's Educator of the Year in 1998.
