Partners & Friends

The College of Business has multiple opportunities for alumni and friends to remain connected to Southern Miss.

If business or personal travel brings you to either the Hattiesburg or to the Gulf Coast campus, give us a call. In Hattiesburg call (601) 266-4659, in Long Beach call (228) 867-2620.

Events:
The College of Business is active in supporting all areas of university life. Look for us at athletic, arts and other university events. The CoB will sponsor tailgating before each home game in Hattiesburg. Plan to stop by and join us this fall on the following dates:

Organizations:
The Partnership Society is the College of Business' alumni/friends organization. It was launched to establish and promote program that strengthen ties among members, the business community and the university. Funds donated to The Partnership Society through the Annual Fund will be used to meet needs that are not funded by state dollars.

Corporate Partners:
At the CoB, we pride ourselves on the ability of our students to make immediate, significant contributions to their employers. This requires us to make sure our faculty and students have a continuous dialogue with business professionals. Several opportunities exist for our corporate partners to interact with the CoB

Executives on Campus Lecture Series -- Each semester the College of Business invites Business Advisory Council members and other professionals to campus to speak with students about industry issues, career preparation and and other relevant topics. These talks provide valuable opportunities for students to hear directly from professionals and for business leaders to positively impact the educational and career development of Southern Miss business students.

Student Internship Programs -- Working with the Career Services Office, we help businesses identify interested students for significant learning opportunities.

Business Advisory Council-- The Business Advisory Council for the College of Business (CoB) is made up of outstanding business leaders from around the country who support the College and its efforts for national recognition as a top-ranked business school.
