Management Information Systems: Financial Emphasis Degree Plan (MISFISBSBA)

The objective of the Financial Information Systems emphasis is to provide students with a knowledge of the information function in an organization. This would include knowledge of standards and practices for acquisition of financial information as well as the ability to select and implement technology to support this activity. An emphasis in Financial Information Systems provides an alternative for those who are interested in both information systems and accounting – a degree alternative that contains study in both disciplines.
