The Dale Center for the Study of War & Society continues with the final event of the War & Society Roundtable series of the semester on May 14 at 6:00 p.m. Each lecture of the War & Society Roundtable series will be held at the Library of Hattiesburg, Petal and Forrest County, located at 329 Hardy Street in downtown Hattiesburg. The discussion is free and open to the public.

The book to be discussed is Southern Lady, Yankee Spy: The True Story of Elizabeth Van Lew, A Union Agent in the Heart of the Confederacy by Elizabeth Varon. The discussion will be moderated by Susannah Ural, Associate Professor of History at Southern Miss.
