Scott Ross, Assistant Professor of Sculpture at Kentucky State University, teaches both traditional and contemporary sculptural practices, and ceramics. 

For more than 15 years, Ross has been building and firing wood-kilns at his home studio in White Lake, Michigan. His ceramic work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally with pieces held in the permanent collections of the Museo del Vino, Torgiano, Italy and the Guandong Shiwan Ceramics Museum, Foshan, China. 

Ceramic Sculpture demonstrations by Ross will be held on Monday, October 7 and Wednesday, October 9 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Ceramics studio in the 3D Arts Building on West 4th Street.

A slide lecture will immediately follow Wednesday’s Ceramic Sculpture demonstration at the 3D Arts Building, and will begin at 5:30 p.m.
