The second in this lecture series features Dr. Ben Hardman, who will present, Islamic Perspectives Regarding Persepolis, a coming-of-age story of a young woman in Iran during the Islamic revolution.  Dr. Hardman will give a background introduction and lead a post-film discussion.

This series is part of an initiative, Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and is a collaboration between the Department of Philosophy and Religion and University Libraries.

The Muslim Journeys Bookshelf series provides an opportunity to enhance the library print and film collections and online resources with a balanced collection of core titles about important areas of the Muslim cultures.
