We offer courses and programs both in Hattiesburg and on the Gulf Coast.

Faculty excellence

Our faculty is committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service to the community. We engage students in discussions that are critical, respectful of diversity, and foster an understanding of teaching and learning in higher education and other organizations.

We seek to develop students’ analytical skills in ways that prepare them to conduct sound research that extend the boundaries of knowledge. We are committed to the idea that our graduates will leave ESR with the knowledge and skills needed to make positive contributions to schools, community colleges, universities, and other community organizations that foster learning.

Service

Through our courses in research methods and design, statistics, and foundations of education, we also support students in numerous other departments and colleges at The University of Southern Mississippi.
