Title: Test Engineer

General Responsibilities

• Perform duties in the area of electronic, mechanical, and test equipment working from schematics, engineering drawings, written and verbal instructions.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of automated analog test equipment
• Support test engineering projects; and drives continuous improvement activities.
• Locate and diagnose equipment failures and provide timely corrective action.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Activities                                      

Requirements

Education:  Must possess a Technical Associate's degree and 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience.

Experience: 

• Technical training in electronics will be considered.
• Experience with functional and in circuit test fixture assembly, analog and digital circuitry, analog amplifiers, equalizers, AM/FM tuners, audio analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and automated test equipment, including Agilent 3070 and GenRad GR1000 test systems preferred.
• Must have good verbal and written communication, time management, teamwork, analytical, and inter-personal skills.
• Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision, make decisions based on sound judgment, and pay close attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

May be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 40-50 pounds.
