2014 General Information
Each year, more than 400 teachers and librarians from across the nation come to the University of Southern Mississippi to hear major speakers and participate in concurrent sessions and workshops as authors, illustrators, and experts in the field share their knowledge and experience. CEUs are available for Mississippi educators.
We are pleased to announce that the 2014 festival will be held April 9-11 with Medallion Winner Christopher Paul Curtis. Keynote speakers include M.T. Anderson, de Grummond Lecturer Kathi Appelt, Coleen Salley Storytelling Award Winner Mary Hamilton, Keats Lecturer Karen Nelson Hoyle, Leda Schubert, David Small and Sarah Stewart.
