Some of you were on hand to hear the good news in person, but it is my pleasure to inform everyone else that Ladell Kraft received the Honors of the Association at last week's annual convention of the Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

I had previously read on our web page that Ladell was voted the outstanding professional staff member in the College of Health for 2005. Whether it is her colleagues in her workplace or her colleagues from around the state, they recognize excellence when they see it.

Please join me in congratulating Ladell on receiving the highest honor the state association can bestow.
