Concert to Benefit The Children's Center
Singer Sandi Patty
11/11/08- The University of Southern Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Holiday Spectacular, featuring contemporary Christian singer and grammy award winner Sandi Patty, will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
Sandi Patty is one of the most highly acclaimed performers of our time, with five Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three Platinum records, five Gold records, and over 11 million albums sold. She is simply known as "the Voice." She joins the symphony, Hattiesburg Choral Union and Temple Baptist Church choirs for a celebration of holiday spirit.
Partial proceeds from this concert will benefit The Childrenšs Center for Communication and Development at Southern Miss. Funds raised will help provide education and developmental services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with disabilities.
