There is an Interdisciplinary Minor in gerontology offered through 4 departments/schools: the Department of Community Health, the Department of Child and Family Studies, the School of Human Performance and Recreation, and the School of Social Work. More detailed information on specific program requirements and assistance with program planning is available from the designated program area in each of the college units. A student who has been admitted to graduate school may earn an interdisciplinary minor in gerontology by completing a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours of graduate-level courses selected from the list below. Courses not on this list may be submitted to the Faculty Adviser Team for approval.
