The
Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education's Scholarship
Committee consists of Dr. Anne Sylvest, Chair and Dr. Hani Morgan, Co-Chair.
The
Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and special Education's Awards
committee is composed of the following individuals: Dr. Shirley Bowles,
Dr. Holly Hulbert, Dr. Frances Karnes and Dr. David Walker.
The amount of these scholarships range from $250 to full payment
of tuition. Requirements vary widely across scholarships. For example,
some scholarships require a minimum GPA while others do not. Other
scholarships may have such requirements as evidence of financial need
and/or demonstration of leadership.
The deadline for submitting
applications is April 1; application
forms are available on this website.

The Department
has developed numerous awards to provide students within the program
the opportunity to be recognized for their efforts and scholarly work
