My passion here is learning as much as I can about healthcare so that I can fulfill my future role as a nurse as best as possible. I hope to earn a master's degree in nursing and work as a surgical first assist. Outside of nursing school, I love cooking and spending time with friends.
I am a big believer that laughter is the best medicine, so much of my free time is spent doing just that ... one way or another! I'm a die-hard cat lover, and I don't think I could picture my life without coffee.
In high school, I was not that great of a student. When I received a scholarship through Southern Miss, I realized God had given me a second chance to apply myself academically. The fact that Southern Miss believed in me motivated me to take school seriously. It has been the most rewarding experience of my life. Southern Miss has changed me for the better, and I cannot think of a better place to go to college!
