SeaPerch National Challenge 2014
The University of Southern Mississippi is excited to be the host institution for
SeaPerch National Challenge 2014!
Students will enjoy a “college experience,” as accommodations and meals will be available for all participants on the university’s campus, only a short walk to Saturday’s in-pool and poster completion events.

Teams may register for housing and meals through USM. Each registration includes on-campus dorm housing for Friday and Saturday night and a meal plan including four meals – Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch, and Sunday breakfast. Cost is $90 per person.

Family members / guests may register for housing and meals through USM. Each registration includes on-campus dorm housing for Friday and Saturday night and a meal plan including four meals – Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch, and Sunday breakfast. Cost is as follows:
- Individual - $90
- Family of Two - $180
- Family of Three - $225
- Family of Four - $275
- Families of Five or more – Please register in groups up to four at a time and request suites next to each other in the special instructions box.

The University of Southern Mississippi is pleased to announce the SeaPerch/Southern Miss Scholarship Essay competition. The two top applicants will each be awarded a scholarship in the amount of $3500. Applicants for this scholarship must be rising high school seniors (class of spring 2015). Scholarship applicants must plan to enroll full-time at The University of Southern Mississippi during the fall 2015 semester. The scholarship is valid for the fall 2015 semester only. Applicants must submit an uploaded letter of recommendation from one of the following: school counselor, teacher/principal or professional reference. In addition, applicants should prepare a 500-word essay discussing the following question: How has your participation in the SeaPerch Competition had an influence on your academic and career goals and your plans to attend The University of Southern Mississippi?
