Preview Housing Registration

Instructions for parents and students attending Southern Miss Preview:

  1. Please fill out the form below to reserve Preview Housing at USM for students and/or parents.
  2. Click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.
  3. You will be taken to a fee processing page, where you can pay online using your credit card.
Please note:
  • Due to the number of Southern Miss camps and conferences, Preview guest housing is limited to one night. If you wish to stay on campus longer, please call (601) 266-4791 or (601) 266-4788.
  • Similarly, to reserve space for more than one student, please call the phone numbers above.

Step 2: Student Room Reservation

Cost: $15.00 per student per night
  • Due to the number of Preview participants, all students will be assigned a roommate for the one night stay.
  • Each room is furnished with two beds, desks, dressers, chairs and has a complete set of linens per person. This hall has a community bath. Staff will be available at the front desk from 7 AM until midnight to assist with check-in and any other needs.

  • Parents can be housed in McCarty Hall. Each room is equipped with a microfridge, private bath, 2 twin beds, and desk. Linens consisting of a blanket, pillow, sheets, pillow case, towels, and wash cloth are provided. McCarty Hall has four floors, elevators, and is ADA compliant.
  • A reservation cannot be confirmed until space is guaranteed.
