Centex Homes/National Housing Endowment Scholarships

The National Housing Endowment administers scholarships for students pursuing degrees in construction management and building related industries. We look to encourage the best and the brightest to enter the residential construction industry and hope that these funds will provide the incentive for students to pursue housing as a career.

The deadlines for the Centex Homes/National Housing Endowment Build Your Future Scholarship and the National Housing Endowment Herman J. Smith Scholarship are fast approaching! Applications can be downloaded from the National Housing Endowment website at www.nationalhousingendowment.org. Each year, the Endowment provides over $280,000 in scholarships to students and approximately 30 percent of applicants receive some funding. Are your students taking advantage of these opportunities?

If there are any questions about program criteria, students should feel free to call me and I would be happy to guide them in the application process. We encourage students to apply for all scholarships regardless of stated preferences.
