Office of Contracts and Grants Accounting responsibilities

The responsibilities for the Office of Contracts and Grants Accounting (OCGA) encompass:

  • preparing financial billings and reports
  • assisting in preparation of the university's facilities and administrative rate
  • recovering and distributing budgeted salary-release dollars
  • ensuring cost-sharing commitments are documented
  • reviewing service center rate calculations
  • preparing disclosure statements
  • developing and then ensuring compliance with university policies related to Cost Accounting Standards

In addition, OCGA offers guidance and support to principal investigators and departmental support staff by providing timely user-friendly financial data to assist them in monitoring externally funded budgets.
